We purchased a Vortex St Louis hot tub a little over a month ago. After comparing several models out there, we felt that the Vortex line provided the best value for the money as far as features, price and quality.
Ty from Backyard Pool and Spa guided us through the entire process as we were new to this including delivery and a post installation demo. He is very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful, answered our numerous questions and provided great advice at every step. Ready for a swim! We are totally satisfied with the product, price and service we received from beginning to end from Ty and staff at Backyard Pools and Spa. They guided us through the purchase and set up of our beautiful Vortex Swim Spa. It was worth the drive to Aurora!

After doing much research for a swim spa, we finally settled on Vortex. The value for the money and the build quality put Vortex at the top of the list. As a previous owner of several pools and hot tubs over the years I knew what I was looking for. The team at Backyard Pool and Spa are fantastic to deal with. Both Ty and Andrew were extremely helpful during the entire process. We ordered the 20’ Hydrozone Pro + Dual zone Swim spa, extra deep model at 59”, late spring of 2020. We had it craned into our garden in November and have been enjoying it immensely. A real getaway during this pandemic.
We also purchased the Covana power cover and I must say it is worth every penny! The ease of use and the added advantage of being able to enjoy our swim spa even in rainy or snowy days. As a custom builder and renovator for over 35yrs I have been recommending Vortex and Backyard Pool and Spa to all my clients and friends.

Our Vortex 13' Swim Spa has been amazing and versatile! With online schooling, my daughter swims at lunch for "gym". My husband and I enjoy it for date nights when everything else is closed. I also do morning laps for exercise, and we all get to relax in the evenings together. The seat with the neck and shoulder jets is my favourite after a long day at the computer. So happy with our purchase! Wish we had bought it sooner.

Ty and his team of professionals have been super helpful during the entire process, starting from the pre-purchase onslaught of questions from myself all the way to the arrival of our swim spa. We finally decided with the Vortex Aqualap 19. The kids absolutely love that they can swim outdoors in the winter, and the adults can sit back and enjoy the spa portion. The delivery team were really professional and efficient. We also had a post delivery/set-up check up from one of the team members, who answered all of our questions. Even months after the purchase, i can send an email and someone will get back to me fairly quickly. The team at the store are also wonderfully nice and helpful. My experience has been nothing but wonderful.

Vortex Palladium Hot Tub
We have been extremely happy with our Vortex Palladium hot tub that we purchased from backyard pools and spas in 2020. We ordered this hot tub just before the pandemic hit and decided to wait it out and it was well worth the wait. There are a ton of features included at no additional cost, one would be the UV light that kills bacteria as the water flows through, minimizing chemicals required to keep the tub clean to backlit cup holders. We looked at several tubs before this one and although they were nice the layout of this tub is incredible with two full-size loungers for my wife and me and the kids have plenty of space to swim around on the other end. It seats 10 people but 7-8 very comfortably. The features already included worked for our budget compared to the pricing we received from other hot tub manufacturers. The icing on the cake is the service we have received from Ty and the team at Backyard pools and spas. Being a first-time owner of the
hot tub can be overwhelming at first but
their consistent support has eased the experience without a doubt. This 11x8 foot tub adds new meaning to a socially distanced hot tub experience, only if required 😂

We recently purchased a Vortex Aqualounge 13 Swim Spa from Ty at Backyard Pool and Spa. The whole process was smooth from start to finish and the price was really competitive compared to other swim spas. Ty answered all our questions, and the delivery and setup went perfect. The crane was setup and gone within an hour. The spa was tested and setup at their facility, so all we had to was fill it and turn on the power.
We love that it more than just a hot tub. The kids enjoy playing in it even on these cold winter days.
We are really happy with our new Vortex Swim Spa and would highly recommend Ty and the staff at Backyard Pool and Spa.

Service exceptionnel de la part de Sylvain le propriétaire il connait très bien son produit! Toujours disponible pour ses clients, il nous à livré notre spa de nage Vortex le 23 décembre (même si son magasin était fermé pour les fêtes) pour qu'on puisse l'avoir avant Noël. J'ai comparé avant d'acheté et les spa vortex sont de bien meilleur qualité que ce que l'on peut trouver dans les chaines de magasin de piscine et spa.

Jason and his team kept us updated on the progress of our swim spa's delivery and did an excellent job coordinating the delivery and installation. We are very impressed with quality of our vortex swim spa and thoroughly enjoy swimming and soaking all year round. The team at Spa New are always quick to respond to questions and assist with the continued maintenance and required products.

We now enjoy swimming in cold weather - it was minus 10C in November and water in our swim spa is set at 95F. First time in life we have swim spa and it really does make a difference in our life and health - swimming almost every day! We even bought special warm coats and wet suites for diving to use in swim spa as it feels very cold when you exist warm swim spa with outside temperature of minus 10C.
